The main compartment of this 40 Liter Skimo Bag is made from durable 500 Cordura, with the front panel and base reinforced using Ultra Weave 400 TX. Ice axe pockets are specially lined with doubled 500 Cordura and 400 TX for extended durability. Two-inch webbing ski holds are securely sewn on the front and inside, while daisy chains provide space to attach extra gear such as a crampon pouch or helmet holder. The metal G hooks on the side compression straps firmly hold skis in an A-frame setup. The hipbelt includes removable pockets and gear loops, and both the hipbelt and shoulder straps use comfortable ½ inch evazote foam padding. An internal zippered pocket holds a removable ½ inch back pad, and the water-resistant #10 Aquaguard zipper plus Fastex buckles add reliable long-term function.
