The Tehipite is built for high routes like the Sierra High Route and long trails like the JMT. Reliable construction over gimmicks, proven design over trends. This is that pack. Choose your volume, your fabric, your closure, and your features—build it the way you need it.

Fabric is your choice. Ultra 200 is the lightest—full UHMWPE construction with exceptional strength for its weight. Ultra 400 TX is heavier but nearly twice the abrasion resistance, the right call for hard use and rough terrain. Challenge Ultra Grid is a recycled nylon reinforced with a UHMWPE grid—the eco-conscious option, with good but lower overall performance than the pure Ultra fabrics. Learn more about fabrics →

Each pack is custom-built to your specific torso length for superior fit and load transfer. Volume can be custom ordered to match your needs. If you want to fit a bear canister horizontally, the circumference should be 41 inches.

7075-T6 Aluminum Stay Frame

Aluminum stays bend and hold their shape to align with your torso. Sewn to the base of the pack and connected to the hipbelt triglides for direct load transfer.

Challenge Sailcloth Fabrics

Built with Challenge Sailcloth Ultra fabrics — engineered for durability, not just low weight. Choose your material for the main body and high-wear areas independently. The pocket, base, and water bottle holders take the most abuse from granite and rough terrain, so fabric choice there matters.

Roll-Top + Removable Lid

Both included. Roll-top closure cinches down tight or opens for maximum capacity. The lid has a zippered pocket underneath and doubles as a cinch system for top-carrying a bear canister. Use both or just the roll-top—your call

Cinch-Closure Stash Pocket

Front stash pocket with cinch closure and drain holes—no mesh like other brands. Built to take abuse from cross-country scrambling through rugged terrain while keeping essentials accessible

Ergonomic Harness System

1/2" genuine Evazote foam shoulder straps contour along your shoulders and chest with a pivoting design that eliminates pressure points on your clavicle and neck. 1" adjustable sternum strap for optimal load stability

Customizable Padded Hipbelt

1/2" Evazote foam padding. Can be configured with ice clip slots, tool loops, and hipbelt pockets to match your needs

Vertical Daisy Chain System

Versatile attachment system for carrying trekking poles, ice axes, snowshoes, and other gear. Multiple lash points provide secure attachment options for whatever your route demands

Compression System

Four-point compression with Fastex buckles stabilizes loads and reduces pack volume when not fully loaded

How to Measure

Each pack is custom built to fit your body. You'll need two measurements:

Torso Length:

Tilt your head forward and find the bony bump where your neck meets your shoulders (C7 vertebra)
Place your hands on your hips with thumbs pointing back, and draw an imaginary line between your thumbs
Measure the distance from C7 down your spine to that line

Waist/Hipbelt:

Measure around your waist at your iliac crest (top of your hip bones)—this is where the hipbelt will sit
