Fabric is your choice — all Challenge Sailcloth, built for durability first. Ultra 200 is the lightest option with exceptional strength for its weight. Ultra 400 TX is heavier but nearly twice the abrasion resistance, the right call for hard use and rough terrain. Challenge Ultra Grid is a recycled nylon reinforced with a UHMWPE grid — the eco-conscious option, with good but lower overall performance than the pure Ultra fabrics. Daisy chains for ice tools. Voile strap slots for skis. Rope straps on the lid. Compression straps to cinch it down when you're running light.
Hip belt and shoulder straps built with ½-inch Evazote foam—comfortable, won't break down over years of use. Zippered pockets on the hip belt for the small things you need to find without stopping.

How to Measure
Each pack is custom built to fit your body. You'll need two measurements:
Torso Length:
- Tilt your head forward and find the bony bump where your neck meets your shoulders (C7 vertebra)
- Place your hands on your hips with thumbs pointing back, and draw an imaginary line between your thumbs
- Measure the distance from C7 down your spine to that line
Waist/Hipbelt:
- Measure around your waist at your iliac crest (top of your hip bones)—this is where the hipbelt will sit
